Butterfly Phoenix & the Millennium Riders is the musical vision of Joel Blankinship, a lead singer, songwriter, and composer with over 10 years of experience in the music industry. The band's name reflects the transformative journeys of its members, each having undergone significant personal evolution. Joel's musical journey began as a street performer in Saint Augustine, Florida, where he spent 2.5 years performing as a rhythm backup to other artists, honing his craft and building his foundation in live performance.

Today, the band is bringing Joel's extensive catalog of original music to the forefront with renewed vigor and intention. Though the band faced heartbreak with the passing of founding member Josh Bush, their talented violin player, the remaining members continue to honor his memory by moving forward with their shared vision. Whether performing as a solo acoustic act at festivals or as getting their music to listeners, Butterfly Phoenix & the Millennium Riders delivers authentic, original music that resonates with audiences seeking meaningful artistic expression.
